Description

Handmade journal, with decorative blue stitching, covered in green bookcloth with an original unique wet cyanotype fern print inset in the front cover. Cyanotypes are produced from a camera less photographic printing process developed in 1842 by Sir John Hersschel, creating a recognisable blue print. Wet cyanotypes create one off prints that often include blues and greens. This journal has decorative metal brads on the front cover. The end papers are off white Fabriano paper. This journal is designed to lay flat when opened making it ideal for journalling, drawing or artwork, the stitching on the cover allows the cover to turn 180 degrees so it goes back on itself making a unique feature and if sketching or journalling outside makes for a sturdy surface to work on. Filled with 72 pages/144 sides of off white Fabriano cartridge paper. Approximately 15.5cm x 15.5 cm. Price includes UK postage and packing
