Handmade journal, with decorative brown and teal stitching, covered in textured bookcloth and inset into the cover is an original unique 'wet' cyanotype fern print. Cyanotypes are produced from a camera less photographic printing process developed in 1842 by Sir John Herschel, creating a recognisable blue print.
This journal has decorative metal brads on the from cover. The end papers are green handmade Indian paper.
This journal is designed to lay flat when opened making it ideal for journalling, drawing or artwork, the stitching on the cover allows the cover to turn 180 degrees so it goes back on itself making a unique feature and if sketching or journalling outside makes for a sturdy surface to work on.
Filled with 72 pages/144 sides of off white Fabriano cartridge paper.
